Arnold Maryland is located in Anne Arundel County between Severna Park and Cape St. Claire. Based just 5 miles from Annapolis and 24 miles south of downtown Baltimore. It has a total area of 13.6 square miles of which 10.8 square miles are land and 2.7 are water which consists of the tidal Severn & Magothy Rivers located on the scenic Broadneck peninsula.
Arnold has a lot to offer. There are many scenic riversides, beaches, and cliffs providing lots of outdoor activities and even 12 marinas. Also set in this gem is the Baltimore-Annapolis Bike Trail which links Arnold, Annapolis, and Severna Park with jogging and biking recreation. Sandy Point State Park is 5 miles east which includes a beach on the Chesapeake Bay, marshes and creeks housing wildlife, and in close proximity to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge & Sandy Point Lighthouse. Anne Arundel Community College is also in Arnold. There are several parks to choose from with playgrounds, ball fields, dog parks, and walking trails.
Arnold is made of mostly single-family and townhomes and many communities within Arnold offer water privileges. There is a suburban - rural mix feel which creates a nice relaxing “get away” vibe. A family-friendly community with a small-town feel, Arnold is a great place to live and raise a family.
