Easy DIY Valentines Gifts

Looking for an easy, thoughtful gift to give that special person for Valentines this year? Not up to 20 step projects or pinterest perfect masterpieces? Here are some simple gifts to give loved ones that take no time at all!

Origami Heart

Start with a square origami paper about 6” x 6” color side down
Fold it in half and open it back up
Now fold the other side in half and open it back up, so you have two creases (four sections)
Now fold the top point of the paper to meet the crease in the center
Fold the bottom point to meet at the top
Fold the right side to meet the crease at the center
Then fold the left side to meet the crease at the center
Flip the paper over to the opposite side
Fold the four remaining corners down just enough make a straight edge

Hot Cocoa Spoons

Get 6 plastic or silver spoons
Dip each spoon into melted chocolate, white chocolate, or caramel
Top with sprinkles, peppermint, chocolate chips, nuts, or any type of candy garnishment
Wait until the chocolate/caramel hardens and then wrap each spoon in plastic cellophane and tie it off with a bow of ribbon

Reed Oil Diffuser

Small bottle
¼ cup of lightly scented oil
20-25 drops of your favorite essential oil
Bamboo skewers or diffuser reeds
3 tablespoons of rubbing alcohol or vodka
A bowl and a small funner

​​​​​​​Pour ¼ cup of oil into the small bowl then add the 3 tablespoons of vodka or rubbing alcohol that is at least 90% isopropyl.
Then add your favorite essential oil drops
Use the funnel with the small bottle and pour the oil mixture into the bottle so it is ¾ of the way full
Put a stopper in the bottle and tie the diffuser reeds/bamboo skewers to the bottle with a ribbon

Lavender Sugar Scrub

1 cup Sugar
¼ cup Coconut oil
Lavender essential oil
Lavender buds
Small mason jar

​​​​​​​Melt the coconut oil in the microwave for a few seconds to soften it
Mix oil with sugar until combined
Add lavender buds and essential oil
Store in mason jar
Add a ribbon for decoration
